Krupa Rajur, MD, CEO & President
Dr. Krupa Rajur is Ivy educated, board certified physician entrepreneur. She is the leading nephrologist at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua & Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Dr. Krupa Rajur has over 15 years of experience in Clinical Nephrology and Critical care Nephrology including renal dialysis and renal transplantation. She is the Director of DaVita Dialysis for In-center and Home Hemo-dialysis. She is the graduate of Entrepreneurship Development Program at the Sloan School of Management, MIT.
She is the Co-founder and Director of CreaGen Biosciences and President of CreaGen Accelerator for early stage startups in life science and biotech industry. CreaGen Accelerator has enabled the successful graduation of 10 companies, helped create >70 jobs, and received >500M in funding over past 11/2 years.
Raj Rajur, PhD, Executive Director & Founder
Dr. Rajur holds a PhD degree in synthetic and organic chemistry. Dr. Rajur's academic career includes appointments at the Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Boston College, Northeastern University, Massachusetts General Hospital and
Harvard Medical School.
In the industrial sector, he has held scientific and managerial positions at ArQule and Millipore Corporations. He has authored more than 25 papers in peer-reviewed journals and holds 3 US patents.
As an enthusiastic thought leader, he encourages dedication and goal driven work.
Anny Chum, Executive Director of Operations & Administration
Anny Chum is C2I Accelerator's Executive Director of Operations & Administration.
Holding Associates Degrees in both Business Administration and Biotechnology from Middlesex Community College, Anny brings years of technical and laboratory experience to C2I.
A dedicated worker and enthusiastic team player, Anny supports C2I Accelerator's technical and research efforts and oversees day-to-day administrative tasks.
Dr. Hwa-Ok Kim, PhD, Senior Director of Chemistry
Dr. Kim received his PhD degree from New Mexico State University and then entered his postdoctoral appointment at Marion Merrell Dow.
Dr. Kim served as Director of Chemistry at Aurigene Discovery Technologies, where he directed all global partnered chemistry programs. Dr. Kim has authored more than 40 technical articles and books and holds ten US Patents.
Nandan Padukone, Advisor
Nandan is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at T1D Fund, a spinout venture fund of JDRF, Strategic Advisor at Joslin Diabetes Center, Harvard Medical School, and is a Mentor/Catalyst at MIT Deshpande Center and MassBio. Dr. Padukone has been Joslin’s Senior Vice President, Innovation during 2012-2018 where he created and led a business team, to build revenues, alliances, and ventures from R&D and clinical assets. The 20+ strategic alliances covered metabolism, obesity, kidney and eye complications, regenerative medicine, microbiome, and autoimmune targets, and cross-disease platforms.
He facilitated several start-up companies and helped achieve funding from SBIRs, foundations, angel groups and VCs. Dr. Padukone has been President and CEO of Nuvera Biosciences (2005-2012), a personalized medicine company he founded as a spin-out of MD Anderson Cancer Center. Prior to Nuvera, Dr. Padukone was President of Silico Insights (2000-2005), a bioinformatics company he founded to develop novel machine learning algorithms for analysis of genomic, proteomic and clinical data.
Dr. Padukone holds an MBA from U. Denver, a Ph.D. in Biochemical Engg. from NC State University, an MS, Chem. Engg. from SUNY, Buffalo, and a B.Tech., Chem. Engg. from IIT, Mumbai.
Kriti Garg, Accounting Manager
Kriti is an Accounting Manager at C2I Accelerator Inc, holding a Master’s in
Accounting and Cost Control alongside CPB and QuickBooks certifications.
She specializes in Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting and her expertise
extends to financial reporting, tax compliance, and process optimization. An
accomplished account professional, she manages financial operations for
the company and ensures financial operations run seamlessly while
adhering to regulatory standards.
